I know that we had a cool hack installed there but people didn't give a crap to click the solved button (lazy? you bet... grrrr), so we know if the problem was solved.
I came up with a different idea... How but a moderator to close the threads once they are solved?
In this way, for example, if I look to help people, if I see a thread closed, I know the problem was solved...

Let me know what you think guys.

g-force2k2's support forum hack had the 'closed thread' idea once it's been solved.
However though, you'd need to click on 'solved' or whatever.
Either way, to be accurate for this type of hack, you're going to need someone to say 'ok that's solved' and click on a button.

Dave.

Considering the amount of Support questions/threads daily, it will be a hard task to do manually.

yes, because we then have to look into every supportthread, which could have been answered with the last post, and so on..

Good idea but i think it would be far too much work for one person :)

Well we had a good solution implemented but as usual, people were to lazy to click a damn button to show it as resolved.

Its amazing that with all this hig tech stuff and the amount of time it takes to use it (less than 5 seconds) people are still to lazy..

Civilization is going *down*

unfotunately there are users who don't care anything after their question has been answered..

Some of them don't even come back to check if their thread has been answered..
