i have a Vbulletin board...but i don't have a username and password for downloading hacks. what's going on? shouldn't i have received those? :(

Pennyair, to download hacks and get support you will need to go to this (http://www.vbulletin.com/members/forums.php) page and enter your email address, to show you are licensed. (you will need to use your customer number and password to access that page)

It would appear that you wouldn't be allowed to apply hacks if you wanted to. Unless I'm terribly mistaken, your board supplier has hacked vB to use one instance to run a lot of forums. Your chances of code hacking would be about nill.

wait, it said that the supplier is a branch of a incorperated company that is affilated with Vbulletin, so how would he hack it? i've already contacted VB about it, and they said i contact the person about it... :ermm:

Unless you have a customer number and password issued by Jelsoft you will not be able to get support or access to hacks. You will need to contact the person supplying the forums to you.

i just did and he said that because i'm using his forums for free, i don't get a customer number and password. thanks for your help, everyone. :)
