Use vBLite, if you want to improve that. vBportal = Bad. :p

still, on forumhome:
Page generated in 0.27219701 seconds (64.60% PHP - 35.40% MySQL) with 38 queries.
i have done everthing i can to the dam thing and that the best i can get out of it.
i like vportal because of all the extra modules, it gives the board more versatility. i can do all the things i have on the site with vblite.
the forum home puts out a lot of queries if you go from vportal main page to the forum home, but if you go and click refresh, you get 21 queries. i even used the optimize forum home hack from here.
i cant do much more, i really like vportal, but the queries are a pain!

How about vBIndex? Thats the next best thing.
you guys are persistant. LOL
i am going to setup a test site and see if i can vbindex to work the way i want it to, plus i have photopost and that works seamless with my vportal skin.
we`ll see. i dont like the queries either, but for now i have to suffer. vportal has everything i need for my site. to bad vbindex doenst have the smae kind of idea with modules and add ons like that.
if any of the options you have giving me have a cms system built into, then i am sold! but i need something that matches the style and i can built pages that look like the "belong" like what i have in vportal.
thanks,

virtuanews.co.uk can be intigrated with vbulletin in all aspects - it's a challenge though :)
Check out www.yaxay.com for an example :p
