The purple is way too hard on the eyes IMO, try making it a velvet color. Which is lighter. I suggest you move the 'Active Users today' to the bottom since I have to scroll a bit just to get to the start of your forum list.

The flash is unecessary and that purple almost blinded me... start with changing that ;)
