I requested something similar to this before, and others have, but I've never seen any solution.
I'd like to find something that will allow folks to vote on posts.
You would need to be able to enable it on a specific forum, or even better, on specific threads.
If you could enable it on a specific thread basis, it would perhaps be something Mods/Admins could add later (e.g. Edit the thread to 'turn it on').
A couple of possibilities.
1) Vote for ONE post in a thread. E.g., select the best post in the thread (kind of like what FARK does in it's Photoshop discussions). Would then need a link to results somewhere.
2) Rate posts within a thread (1-5 or 1-10). Like the user rating hack but on posts?
Anyhow, would LOVE to see this.
