Hey everyone, I've been trying to think of a few ideas for hacks to write, mostly because I'm going to be tackling a large project soon and I'd like to practice a little. So here's a few ideas, let me know what you think of them, and if you think they'd be worth coding or not.
1) vBwebcam - An addon script that allows a user to have a webcam image in their profile and the postbit of any of their posts.
2) vBwebring - a vB backed webring, somewhat similar to the now debunk pixelcore (http://www.pixelcore.com) website. Any member of the board can nter or remove their site from the webring through the usercp, and administrators can moderate through the admincp. A page dedicated to the webring allows users to upload their own 88x31 buttons, view all of their sites in the webring, their in/out click counts, and generate code to display on their page.
3) Profile Comments - Allow any member to leave comments in a user's profile, can be used either as a public private messaging system or user feedback system. Functionality would probably be included in a getinfo overhaul, perhaps with some additional features.
