Icon or Name beside/under 'THREAD STARTER

sup guys....ok on my site i have a few artists/djs/performers who i want to distinguish over regular members...i thought the best way would be to put an icon or text under their name when they start a thread.....does anyone know how to do this....(similar to when an admin puts up an announcement)....thanx

I don't know if this is what you are looking for. But I have a hack that allows you to have smilies/BB code in user titles.

See, its almost like that, but i want the admin to be able to add it.....next to an artist, rather than the user him/herself...

Or

anything (the best way) that will let me show the difference between artists and regular members
