Ikonboard - Upload Hack

Hello folks,

let me first say that I'm interested to buy the vbulletin Software, but first I need some tips and help to figure out if something is possible to import into the new system.

Some details:

Right now I'm working with a hacked 2.1.9 Ikonboard, the most important Hack there is the Picture Uploading for members to our server Uploading File. On our Ikonboards its possible to include photos via this hack and uploading them to a special file where they are stored to use them in the member post.

Now I noticed that an vbulletin importer for ikonboards 2.1.9 exist, but would it be possible to import the pictures via the picture uploading hack I have right now, also into the vbulletin software?

Thats very important because we have tons of pictures in our posts there yet, and if I use the importer I guess the posts will be tranfered but the pictures in there are gone, right?

Anyone that can help out or have suggestions and ideas? Any help would be really appreciated!! Thanks.

I believe by default the ikonboard importer imports everything in the MySQL. Added hacks to ikonboard will probably not be imported.

thanks for your reply. Thats what I thought, too. So I contacted the vbulletin support team and they told me to go to this forum board to find a a Hacker that is possible to write a script that all Photos in the existing Post (ikonboard) and uploaded in the special file could be included into vbulletin after or within the importation.

So I'm looking for someone that could do this, any help?
