Changing the button color from the defaults?

How do I change my default buttons color?

I have those purple ones on my forum and I need to know how do i make the purple black... and the letters gold?

I have photoshop 6 and psp7.

Have you d/l the vbulletin gfx development kit from the members center?

If you have then on the layer with the gradient just select all of it by Ctrl + Left Click on the 'gradient layer' and press delete

then just make your own gradient with the gradient tool and use it on the layer :)

Go to vbulletin.com and do a search for "vbutton pro". Download that and the Photoshop scripting kit and then go to the members area and download the graphics kit. Follow the instructions and you can take the default colors and make them anything you want for the buttons. Mine are silver with black writing and they turned out a lot better than I thought they would. And I know diddley about making buttons. Since some of the community here seem to be more into making a buck now instead of just having some fun and sharing like we all used to, (and some still do, don't get me wrong) this is the best and easiest way to go.

What's the point of that? It's just all the buttons I already have.

vButton Pro will change the colors you can pick whatever colors you want for the text as well as the button itself. I changed mine to sliver with black lettering.

Whatever i downloaded was just a package of the button i already had. Did i download the wrong thing?
