How can I import the vB variable into Dreamweaver so that I can create my own vB powered homepage using Dreamweaver?

<? include('path/to/global.php'); ?>
Although your best bet would be to use vbportal or one of the CMS/Portal systems that people have made to integrate with vb.

Well the reason i haven't replied up to now is because i'm not sure exactly what you need here..
What variables of vbulletin do you want to use exactly?

I want to create my own vB powered portal/homepage, similar to vBindex or vBHomeLite. How can I import the vB PHP varilables into Macromedia Dreamweaver MX so that I can simply create a Dreamweaver PHP document and insert those variables, creating my 'portal'?

Are you trying to create your own look in dreamweaver or your own code (i.e. your own php/mysql powered portal?
*very confused*

I suppose my own look. I know I can edit templates for, say, vBHomeLite, but that's a bit of a chore and I'd rather just import a variable list and put them where I want in my own customized portal (if that's possible). :)

Well not really no..
Just edit one template at a time and take note of any variables that are in it

i think he means the thing i try to make too.. its that, that i want create non vbulletin sites into forum based sites.. so what would be needed.. to amke all my non vb sites of my homepgae get integrated into the forum.. .. so it would be nice to use the forum variables also .. and i could make it similar to vbportal, but vbprotals are its own sites.. and what i need is..that my ready running NON vb sites are running similar vbportal.... so i could use there all forum variables an templates i want.. like show users online.. get login filed...show latest threads .. and so on..
maybe someone understood me .. maybe not...
