Use 'Email Notification' by default?

In 'edit options' I can set 'Use 'Email Notification' by default?' to yes, but can it be set to yes by default?

By default it is set to yes.

Then its because you have opted to turn it off, or you have modified your board so by default its off.

Yes, you're right. I signed up as a new user and it was set to yes. Someone else must have changed my options.
