<font size="4">???DEBUG</font>
__________
1/ What is it?
2/ What does it do?
3/ Why is it so dangerous to turn it on?
4/ Why are the extra template options only linked to in the admin cp when debug is on?

1. It's the debugmode
2. It adds several possibilities to the ACP
3. Someone can hack into your board easier
4. Because editing the global templateste can be very dangerous and you surely don't want all admins to have that power ;)

For the current vB 2.2.x, I would mainly use it for organizational methods, like sorting all the templates into their own groups and out of the huge list of "custom templates" (if you are like me).
I ponder though if vB3 will organize the templates in the same fashion vB 2.2.x has.

vb3 will organize the templates in a better way, you can construct sub-templatesets so it's a bit like the permission system which is inherited by the super forums....

Well, i won't say, because then someone knows it :)
Debug is meant that you can change things on the board the developers thought it wouldn't be good if a normal admin can change it...
