last post button from main page not working

I installed the quick reply hack and that is working fine. However now when people try to click on the goto last post button on the main page of my forum board it simply reloads the main page. If the drop down into one of my forums and then click the goto last post next to one of the threads the ction works like it should and they get taken to the last post in that thread. Also if they click the go to first new post anywher in the board it just takes them back to the main board page. Ive already tried to talk to vbulletin.com support about this but since the quick reply hack is in my board all they will tell me to do is reupload my original vB files and then revert all of my template file back to original. This has to be happening for a reason and I would loe to be able to debug my own problems, but since I have no knowledge of php and very little of html I havent the slightest idea of where to begin to look for the error.
