View Full Version : Improved Print Thread View

Well, I noticed that the print thread view uses alot of images, and when printing it should be limited to text only. So I made this hack and it will make the print thread view only text.

I tested this hack on vBulletin 2.2.9, but it should work on about any version above 2.2.4. If you try it and it works please post your version number.

I will post the install instructions in a few posts but first a few screen shots.

Very nice! I always wondered if it is supposed to be printer friendly, shouldn't it be as friendly as possible as in NO LOGO & very limited color at all hehehe ;)

It is irritating when u want to print it with all those signature pics and smilies so I'm going to install it...

Is it possible to have this display images that are posted within the message. In some of my forums, diagrams are posted as a part of the message and need to be printed out too. Anyway to just include these images in the printout?

I can't think of anything right off the top of my head. I will have a look at the code and see if there is a way.
