Earn Points for Clicking Banner/Button

This would be a pretty good hack, and would help people out a lot for hits and stuff, it could even be made as an itemshop integration, any chance of seeing this on vB2

This can be done easily, but only problem is if you are speaking of the banners where you click them, then you have to vote for your site, there is a problem. The user would click the banner, then the points would be added to his column in the database..but if he wishes he could just exit then without voting... :ermm:

If you have ideas on how they would click the link of voting then get the points, I might be able to help.

heh i should have been more specific, well what i really needed was something more controlled, possibly from the admin cp, so i could control how much they get, the time limit for one click (so u can only click once in say 24 hours), and perhaps an itemshop integration, the basic function for adding points would be pretty easy (even i could possibly do it :surprised:), but i'm not too good with the workings of vB so i wouldn't be able to do these admin cp stuffs

well i was looking at the hack for the same thing i would require but using store points, i can alter things so it would use the custom fields for points, but what could i add for it to add only once per day
