One Username One Ip [Ip restriction]

does somebody knows how to make a ip restriction hack..

Explain it..

I want that the members on my board only can login by there username..

so one user per username..

if you add a new member they must add there ip with it..

so only then they can login..

i hope that anyone knows how or knows a hack that does this..

Sounds like a bad idea IMO. A majority of uses will have dynamic IPs and therefore won't be able to visit your site anymore.

or so ever..

or maybe two ip adresses..

i searched but only came up with one name..w0rf..but there's not link by it or what so over..

i hope anyone can help me..

Still not practical IMO. Many large ISP's cover a very large range of IPs so you can simply use 195.195.195.X which would allow only 255 dynamic IPs. If you go one step up to 195.195.x.x it may not be sufficient since some of the ISPs have different IP ranges like 195.195.195.x and 202.202.202.x. Let alone users using 2 ISPs (how/work) like me.

Besides there is another problem with specifying IPs. If user choose an range, he can change it too (say he changed ISP). Then account sharing user can also use this feature can't he?

I think your best bet would be using the default "Find IP of the user" feature in Admin CP for suspicious user accounts.

if users wanna change there ips they can contact one of the admins...

with mail irc or what so ever..

so that would not so difficult.

But is there no hack what can do what i want?
