On board number 2 with number 3 coming up next month. So that's it for my weekends for the next two months. Thanks for ruining my private life by putting out this great product and providing an extensive array of hacks to install.
Apparently yet a fourth board to go up next year, didn't even bother with pointing the owners at other software simply said let's cut to the chase and go with vBulletin. Naturally they agreed to it....
Cheers J.

Oops also meant to blame the various contributers of hacks here. Yet to find a requirement that hasn't already had a hack put up for it, which is pretty cool as my php skills suck major time (currently learning all about it). So to those who have published hacks here, thanks for ruining my weekends as well :(
And just to make things worse, they have version 3 in beta and already have people asking if we are going to upgrade.....

You shouldn't crisitise people who spend and use up their time writing codes for us to use - FOR FREE.

I think the thread starter was just being sarcastic. :) Yeah, I am supposed to be doing work, but I end up using up hours to write hacks or install them.

Er Des maybe a cultural thing here, was actually a complement to the various people who have published their work here. It's a big pat on the back to the guys who have put up there hacks, the unfort thing for new boards, is that a lot of them are must have, ergo the next few weekends spent installing them to appease a clammering membership.
Also figure l should learn a lot of PHP by doing it.
As ever vBulletin and the various support communities make it the best choice for board software.
Thanks guys (if anyone is in the Sydney environs l'll buy ya a beer)
Cheers J.

No problems Erwin, just passed on to our tech guys two more must have hacks btw... the one for breaking down a members posts by forum, and the ever popular awards hack for our new board. Still unable to get php sorted on my Win2k box (and that's the story l'm sticking to  ).
One of these days we'll work out a hack that isn't included here...
ArunanS are you in WA mate, feel free to pop over anytime...
I know, I hate the fact that vBulletin exists too, and the staff and hack creators...gahhh!
Thanks to all of them of course :D :D
I've installed 80 hacks...on my latest forum...
