I think it's clear that some message boards, naturally, make their forums to look the same to everyone (which means using preset sizes for widths, rather than percents in favor of resolution changing).

I, personally, do this:
http://caz.psyker.net/

What would be extremely useful, and probably even moreso for resolution friendly boards who want their pages to load quicker, to have complete control over signatures or images posted (whether BBCode or even the IMG code for HTML enabled forums).

I simply do apologize if this has been requested, or even made before, but it'd be really great if someone could create such a tool, which basically works like the avatar except more freedom, so that any image posted in the signature or displaying from another website either is automatically resized to fit the width of the provided table, or is just cut off completely.

In case you, for some disgusting reason, didn't understand what I was trying to say, let me give you an example:

No image shall be more than 388 pixels wide or 388 pixels tall.
Elmo puts an image 400x200 pixels in his signature. Uh Oh! He's overflowing the table and make everything ugly. Bad Elmo.

On the other hand, his dear friend Big Bird recently posted a thread about cars. The image of the car he wanted to buy was 500x100 pixels. He also overflowed the table, making everything ugly! So Elmo contacts Big Bird and asks him to change it since he wasn't permitted a signature. Big Bird gives him the middle finger, and to this day a table remains, still, overflowing and ugly.

Dear Readers, please help!

What about all images, in general, that are posted?...and can we use them to resize the images?; instead of simply removing them.
