Hi guys,

While I'm quite happy with YabbSE, there is one thing that annoys me. There is no hack for search engine friendly URLs. It seems a waste not to have all the posts indexed by google etc..

Anyway, if there is a converter to convert my yabbSE db to a VB database, i'l buy a licence tomorrow........so is there?

thanks in advance

From the official vBulletin.com member support page:

We currently offer a set of scripts that will allow you to import posts, threads and users from the following programs: Infopop Ultimate Bulletin Board 5, Infopop Ultimate Bulletin Board 6.0, 6.1 and 6.2, Infopop UBBThreads 5.4 (formerly wwwthreads), vBulletin Lite, Infopop OpenTopic/UBB.x, Ikonboard 2, Ikonboard 3, phpBB2, DC Forum, XMB, and ezboard (posts only, not members for ezboard).

There is a beta hack out that imports from YABB to vB here:

https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?s=&threadid=40873

You may not be able to access that page since you are not a licensed owner.

When vB3 comes out early next year, an official importer may exist.

Hope that helps. :)

I see. :) Well, there isn't one yet. Try posting that question at vbulletin.com and ask to see if vB3 will have that feature.
