Request: Integration with X-Cart

X-Cart.com is a great script written in php with smarty templates, I think the integration with vbulletin would be unbelievable. Could help with cross selling, up selling, paid subscription for certain forum access, etc.

Would anybody else be interested in using or creating this?

Uhmm It's really difficult to make the integration because X-Cart is a paid script :(.

If somebody was interested I'd be willing to setup a development server.

I would try to do it but I cannot stay online for long time, because I pay for every minute I stay connected...

Wow, that has to suck. I imagine it would be a large hack to do if you wanted to fully integrate everything.

I have looked at the x-cart system and it looks real good. Where could we hire someone to integrate vB and x-cart?

you got xcart to work? ;) I bought it last summer, but couldn't get it to run or even install on our dedicted box. I haven't used it since.

I have x-cart up and running for several clients. The product has grown greatly since last summer, I'd recommend looking into it.

We are creating out own forum instead of integrating with vbulletin.

I am running x-cart 3.4 and we love the software - many features (i love the "translation" feature - dreaming of vB to include that feature into vB 3.0) and low prices.

We have not yet begun integration x-cart with vB but it doesn't seem to complicated. (see my thread with vB - PHPAuction integration)

I will keep you posted - we are creating a huge "online mall" using X-cart pro.

I thought about it too. If there is a hacker (I've never used my version too), I can send you the code, so you can start working on the integration.
