I guess I could post a nice'n'sappy rendering of this but here it is....
FYI I run a vb 2.2.7 that I recieved from a legal re-seller, they just 'cant' give me access to vb.com/org... And won't get hacks for me after distinctly saying that they would... :disappointed:
Questions:
Why has vb.org changed from all access, to all post no attach access, to all no post access? :dead:
What's the deal with the whole 'Only liscence holding users can access hacks'
Is there a way for me to rightfully gain access to hacks on this site or am i screwed? answer=$end
if($end=='yes') {
echo "what is it?";
} else {
echo "Is there anything stopping me from putting up a vB hacks site of my own?";
}

we have to check weather users using a legal copy of vb or not, and we just can do this per checking if you have a valid licencenumer, thats why we can'T give someone support who is not entered in the form on vbulletin.com members area

Well I don't know if I completely made out what you said but the Re-Seller I recieved it from was www.g-hosting.net, or Patrick S-something....
My friend who also has one of his vb's (said he) has checked with vb and they verified it... If vb verifies it and so do they would it be possible for me to be granted access?
And also my other questions still..

well, you can mail to vbulletin.com and check this with em, they can grant you the access here.

If you got this off a re-seller, you should still get a license number and password.
If you don't, then there is something very suspicious about the reseller, unless he is subhosting the forum for you.

Well I guess I'll e-mail vB.
In the meantime, it says I can ask about existing hacks. I had installed FireFlys Quick reply hack (the one on here, on default style I think) And it worked fine. Then they finally upgraded me from 2.2.6 to 2.2.7 and I have changed the new showthread.php to the specifications of the old one, or so i thought... yea... Still doesn't work. And the templates weren't changed so :p

Technically we cannot give you support until you prove to us you are licensed.

Yea, well take that word and shove it up your tecnically tight ass! (I just had to try that once, a big J/K :p )
but seriously.... have you happened to look at the description of this forum?
I'll help...
Use this forum to ask questions prior to purchasing vBulletin, regarding existing hacks and whatnot!
And i'm already working on the liscence thing... if he would just get back online..
