Is there a "vBHome", or is vBHome (Lite) the same thing?
What's the significance of the "Lite" in the name? I understand that the hack has gone through different stages, but to me the "Lite" implies that something's been left out...

Arkham, please go to this (http://www.vbulletin.com/members/vbulletin.org.php) page and enter your username, to show you are licensed. (you will need to use your customer number and password to access that page)
Thank you.

Not again... ;)
FireFly knows about me. I'm still a pre-owner. I'm waiting for vB3. That's why this is in Pre-Sales.
Good to see you're quick, though. ;)

Lite is free, the other isn't (I think).

Sorry :) - I've seen you around and assumed you are already a licensed owner. Why wait for vB3? Same price if you get a license now, and you can upgrade for free when vB3 comes out.

Sigh, I know. Believe me.
For various reasons, I hadn't the money or time over the past year (I was Dot-Bombed last year...) and was planning on getting v3 this past spring. Dev. on my site wasn't far enough to use it, and I wasn't looking forward to spending the time to acquaint myself with vB twice (one with v2, and then for v3). Now my frustration is at an all-time high, so I'll probably get it by the end of November. F'n Finally.
Besides, I wanted to max out the usefullness of the 1 yr renewal date. There's no use letting it sit unused for 6 months...
Heh, 2 years of daily vB forum reading and I almost feel like an owner.
Anyway, your vigilance is appreciated. :)
(The good news is that now I may actually get an additional license for a client's site. )

Hmm... Would that be Virtuanews (http://www.virtuanews.co.uk)? I couldn't find any reference to just "vBHome" on here.
I'm thinking of using that for my site during development, until either the vB CMS or I find a custom solution.
I can't PM, so I couldn't ask Teck directly. :)
Thanks for the help, guys.

VirtuaNews is done by TECK and someone else and is his commercial project. I'm not sure if I read in his vBhome (Lite) thread that when his site is done he will release vBhome Full (Paid?) Version too.

Oh... I read (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?s=&postid=312749&highlight=teck+tingle#post312749) that Teck just did some gfx for virtuanews. It doesn't sound like an option really, since it's not really fully integrated, just shares the login. (As an add-on too.)
I think vBHome will be it. I'm trying to wade through that thread to find more example sites, but it's time-consuming to pick them out.
Hey, if anyone can show me some interesting examples of what could be done, I'd love to see 'em. I have a feeling that my site design won't easily transfer over to vB without a (very) customizable, full-featured CMS, but vBHome looks to be the best start.
Cheers.
