send registration email with closed registration

hi,

im pretty sure i have seen this hack here but i cannot find it again :(

what it does:

in a board with a closed registration it allows the admin to send an email with a specially formatted link to register.php that allows the user to register even with closed registration.

yes i know you could simply create the account in admincp and send the user an activation email then, but i want the user to register, as i need him to enter some details about his company and his academic titles during registration that i might not know in all cases...

can anyone point me there please?

Are you sure? I've never seen it. I looked for it but couldn't find it either.

maybe i was dreaming, but im quite sure. it was on like page 100 of the full releases forum if i remember right.

EDIT: my bad, it was released on a german non-official forum. thanks for searching.
