hiya guys ..

i have posted for someone to help out with this news grabber hack .. but none seems to be able to help me out ..

if someone can do this hack for me i'm ready to pay for it


what i need is a small window scrolling below the header of the vbulletin index page and Vbportal which would

1. grab latest news for top news sites like bbc.com /cnn.com etc.

2.and the news would be posted in a scrolling window

Example :http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi.html

there is a section right on top called "" LATEST: """"
something like that

This can be possible but the hack created will be very "inconstant" and likely to stop working due to changes in the sites it compiles news.

Such an hack would need a mainstay to grab texts from other sites and this mainstay is will be an HTML code repeated in that page just before the texts you want to grab (ie.news in your example). Since HTML design of this page is not a "safe mainstay" in your part, your script can anytime stop working or compile "wrong texts" if they change their HTML design.

Many news related sites do this trick as they are well aware that other sites can apply such techniques to their webpages. So if you want to have this hack, you should be ready to revise its algorithm very frequently to keep it running or accept the fact that it can stop working anytime depending on the other site's action..
