A Question... (welcome panel and offsite avatar hacks)

i really dont know which forum to put this in whether it should be requests or support.. but i'll put it here


i'm looking to install the "welcome panel" hack

and also the offiste avatar hack

now, what i'd like to know is, Would the welcome panel display the offsite avatar or would it go looking for a serverside one?

Because from the way i see it, the welcome panel hack is looking for an avatar on the server, and isnt looking for the offsite one.


Or... am i wrong in assuming this?


AND

If three already is a hack for this, would someone please point me in the direction? I've been searching the board without any luck.

The welcome panel will display the database avatar, not the offside one. You will need to change the code in the welcome panel to display the offside one (or the avatar as a file).
