G'day all,
I'm making a custom statistics hack for my Web site because my front page was getting too bogged down with the various stats that I wanted to display. So what I've done is put all the stats-getting hacks I'm using into their own php file (with a few tweaks and mods here and there) which I'll put up a link to load it in a javascript popup window.
But, being a relative PHP newbie, I'm stuck on getting a few totals, such as total members online (just the number, not the list of actual members), total registered vs total guest, total visible vs total invisible, record total online, and total new user registrations for the current day.
Again, with the online stuff, I just want the totals, not the list of names.
Also, with that Top 5 Posters hack that's been around for a while, how can I edit this line:
$posts5 = $DB_site->query('SELECT userid,username,posts FROM user ORDER BY posts DESC LIMIT 5');
to not include admins or specific posters? I know it entails the usergroupid and userid variables, but can't work out exactly how to do it.
Can anyone help with this, please?
