Avatars Not uploading

I have resontly moved servers and have come into a few issues since i have moved with paths ext.. but most of them are fixed now and mydatabase is uploaded fine. But i am having a problem when i try to upload a personal avatar i get this

The uploaded file is not a valid GIF or JPG file. Please ensure that it is and try again.

also if i try to upload the jpg or gif threw admin control panel it works BUT its a dead image i get a red X.

i have attached a screenshot look and see if you like.
i have also hurd from a friend that they had this same issue b4 and they never resolved the problem would anyone have any idea what the problem might be?

I got exactly the same Problem, though I didn't move my Forums. The Problem seems to be new (I know this was working 2 Weeks ago). I'm running safe_mode (through all the time).

Concept, which Hacks do you have installed on your board? Which ones did you apply the last days or when you found this out?

i never installed any in the lastlittle wial.. but i found the salution.. the problem is on the server end at first me and my friend thought it was the /tmp file it was tryign to read on the newserver but it seems that it is not that i was the settings ont the server end.
