Custom images on forums

http://www.zelaron.com/forums/ has a wonderful hack.

The different images in front of the forums.
I tried e-mailing the owner, but no answer so far.

I guess it's a hack. and if anyone knows where I can find more info and files on this, I'd be more than happy.
