Is there any way I can keep everything the way it is, without re-installing and starting over with all the hacks we have installed???

You need to do a compleate DB backup which you need to restore on your new server and just transfer the files across :)

You can ftp all your vB files but that won't work for the database. The only reliable method of backing up and restoring a database is with shell access via telnet or ssh. Please see the instructions here:
