Hi guys  I was hoping to just use htaccess to do this but dont know it enough to do it the way I would like to ( or if it's even possible)
We are a ban-free forum, but we do have a "time out" or "Confinement" forum where we put really really bad members. What I wanted to do is put a redirect on their IP address to keep them in this specific forum no matter what they do (if they log out to reregister, etc), they will keep getting redirected to just this forum, and the only way I can think of doing this would be by thier IP address.
One guy in particular who is from France and thinks its funny to continuously post pictures of mutilated little babies on our board to upset my members :( :paranoid: and for now, this is specifically for him.
Any ideas? Thanks in advance

normally i'd ban such people...
would be easier than do a lot of work just for them.
also you'll have problems with the IP, because most of the users have dynamical IP's not static ones so a hack which depends on the IP of the user wouldn't help so much most of the time

create a new user group called ' time out ' or 'ban ' or w/e you want and then edit it's permissons to only see one section of the forums , and the ability to read it only and not post , and put a thread in there for him to read telling him he's an idiot.

because instead of banning him and trimming his ip down you now have a quick ban type feature as a user group for further troublemakers

Our "time out" forum is basically a permanent confinement area since we dont ban and its request access only so whoever see's what is in there is warned beforehand. We use the "time out" mainly for spammers because they will eventually be let out again lol. I agree, he is twisted :ermm:

Besides I also suggest "Hellban" and ultimate ignore hacks..
Or just run a SQL query in your site and add his userid to everybody's ignore list..
I think just use to IP and when the person comes online send them a trojan and fhuck their ++++ over to teach them not to MESS WITH NEO >(
