Question about Forum Permissions

Ok here is my question: I have a board whereas we have literally hundreds of moderators. Whenever I add a private forum I have to manually go and remove these people from being able to access the forum even though I set up their user group’s permission.

Is there some hack or someway to alter this where everybody is set to “default” setting instead of all these people being turned to “yes.”

If you need any elaboration please tell me and your help is appreciated.

I am also wondering the same thing. I want My Mods forum to be visible to all, but only allow access to the Mods and admins. As of now, the general users (usergroupid 2) Don't have posting permission, but the can view all Thead Titles. As soon as the click the thread it give a userpermission error. but they still can view all thread titles.

If it's a hidden forum, then the normal users will not be set to yes for viewing. I think thats how it goes.
