And I don't have a clue to why they stopped working! All of the forums are setup for rating but the stars don't show up after raitng the threads.
One piece of evidence that i can give is that I installed the stars level hac that displays stars for each usergroup level. Any help on this matter will be appreciated!
Regards,
Rolodex

If you click the View Origional button in the edit template code you can see what should be there compared with what you have for you vB version.
Its the forumdisplaybit template and you need to make sure it has $threadrating in there somewhere for the ratings.

It does, but when I rate the thread, no stars appear! :(

Check that the stars images exisit and that $threadrating is in forumdisplay.php as well, do the ratings show on showthread.php?

Nope ... they don't show up anywhere! IS this variable being called up from the files you mentioned?
NTLDR

$threadrating should be set in forumdisplay.php for the thread listing. Is you usergroup allowed to rate threads too?

Sure is ... I just check that. (I'm the admin)

I really can't thin of anything other than checking the hack you installed and that you did it correctly. If you have backups of the files before upload them and see if they work then, if so then you know 100% that its the hack causing the problem.

Here's what's in my forumdisplay_threadrate template:
<td bgcolor="{firstaltcolor}" align="center"><img src="{imagesfolder}/$thread[rating]" border="0" alt="$thread[votenum] votes - $thread[voteavg] average"></td>
Here's what's in my forumdisplaybit:
<td bgcolor="{secondaltcolor}" width="30%" nowrap><normalfont>$thread[postedby]</normalfont></td>
<td bgcolor="{firstaltcolor}"><normalfont><a href="javascript:who($thread[threadid])">$thread[replycount]</a></normalfont></td>
<td bgcolor="{secondaltcolor}"><normalfont>$thread[views]</normalfont></td>
$threadrating
<td bgcolor="$backcolor">

The templates seem correct, the variables match what I have in mine, so all I can do is suggest what I said In post 12 above :)

I didn't install any hacks. The only thing I can say referencing hacks, would be the "Stars Hack" but that wouldn't break this ... would it?
NTLDR

I haven't seen/used that hack so I can't say. Anything that changes code in forumdisplay.php and/or showthread.php could cause the ratings to stop working.

try to Go to the Admin CP and check the vBulletin Options
under Forum Display Options chnage the setting for Showing Votes (How many votes will a thread need before the votes are displayed?) to numbar one ---> 1
