Not been done as far as I'm aware, although it should be possible. You would need to make sure that certain tags are stripped out etc. It wouldn't be very practical though having to type in say <font size=1><b>NTLDR</b></font> to log in though.

Depending on what you want there are hacks to allow users to set the colour of there using name and glowing names.
