i liked the layout but not the orange, so changed it and the buttons ect - am working on the graphics now also... the ones that came with it were ok but with the color change.... still working on them...

Don't expect much from
kaost451. I paid him up front for some buttons and work and he left me high and dry in the middle. I ended up doing half the work myself.

He did make me some really nice bars. But talent has nothing to do with good business practice.

I think if a free loader is going to take advantage of vBulletin.org hard work and solicit there members instead of finding his own. They should back it up with ethics.

Be prepared for this guy’s bull crap reply and denial. I have every email to proof any excuse and baloney he will state here.

I even told him that I would finish the work if he would just send the png files any graphic designer provides for their customer and I never got them.

If you want one of his pre-made sets you may get them. I would not trust him for custom work. I gave many chances to make good. He went from. Sorry Dan I’ll do it tonight. To as far as I am concerned I did the work already. After I waited for days and then said give me a refund.

Even after that, it’s been 2 weeks or so before I brought this up here. But I’m sick of watching this guy scavenge this site like a troll or a peddler on the corner selling bags of peanuts. What’s going to sell next? Hey loser this isn’t EBay!

No refund, no png file just a screw you. Can’t wait for his lies to start so I can post the emails for proof! Bottom line; this guy has a ton of talent with no work ethic or concern for his customers. This isn’t about money. It’s about principles.

He promised me a certain amount of art & work for 25 bucks. This in my mind was cheap. He’s the dummy that shorted him self. I asked for buttons and bars with directions on installation. He said sure, but he preferred to install the bars. It started to take him too long so he bailed. And I finished the job which took me an hour and I didn’t even know how to do it at first. Real though! Then I was going to let all this slide if he would just send me my promised files. NOPE.

So he had many chances to make good and didn’t. So I think it’s important that everyone knows what this freeloader is up too. BEWARE of kaost451

There you go again Dan making up stories, I told you before designing your requests, I told you quit frank that I would design you some main page category bars and custom button sets for 25.00, custom button set's run $15.00 and category bars run at least $10.00, that is a total of 25.00, you wanted me to design category bars for each page? You never told me that, if that was the case I would have charged you for a full complete style ($500.00). IT'S THE SAME DAMN THING!

With almost every thread started, kaost, there appears to be many that either are fed up in some way or another or that have not received their order as expected or in a timely fashion.

My suggestion to you would to be either make sure you are online enough to fill the orders as they come in or develop an instant delivery system accordingly with PayPal so that when they pay, they will get their order then and not have to wait.

I realize there can be times where you are away or are having problems (everyone has problems at some point and time), but if you do not feel you can get things out fast enough, I would refrain from posting them to keep comments such as what has been posted here and in others away.

Any further (negative) comments and this thread will be closed as with any future ones to keep things clear.

Kaost is a scammer. That's the plain truth of it. Paid him 700 dollars to design few things for my site, the agreed price was 1500, he would get paid 800 at the completion.

The guy begged me to pay up front after 2 weeks, sent me a lame screenie of the work he has done so far, being stupid, trusting and naive, not to mention I felt bad for the guy, I paid the full 1500.

His phone number mysteriously changed and he went poof.

If anyone wants his service, be forewarned that his guy is the slimiest there is on the net where you have no other choice but to go on trust.

Stay far away from this loser.

$1500? That is very expensive in the first place. In future, never pay upfront for anything on the internet without signing a contract. Anyway, if what you allege is true, you can still sue for your money back.
