Can I hack a vB, apply loads of hacks, even ones which make you run queries, write down the queries, then upload another database overwriting the one I was running while hacking a board, then re-run the queries?

I ask this because I want to create a new forum with different hacks etc. but in the end transfer my proper DB over to it! I just need to telnet into the new server, upload and overwrite with my proper DB, then can I re-run the queries that create and modify tables from hacks?

Yes that will work, you need to re-run the queries before you run any of the PHP files as its quite likly they won't work due to DB errors.
