Need to find a Most Active Popular Thread/Topic for non VB pages

Hello, i been looking at all the hacks on the pages, i just can't find the specific hack i need, so i need some help.

I am looking fo for a script that would allow my forum to automatically list the most popular topic/thread on my main page which is index.php (web site main page, NON VB). NON VB page.

If anyone can help me with a link to such a script, that would be really helpful :) . thanks!

I been searching the forum, the ones i see are mostly outdated not for 2.2.7
or they are for "latest post"
or they are "most popular thread but not for non vb pages"
