Is it possible to store GIF/JPG attachments as inline images of the post so it can appear like the following? Instead of having to click on the pic?

Thanx

This already exists in vb. You have to enable the option in your USER CP/Options

Hmm.... that's not the right answer actually... that option just says to view all [IMG] tags as a LINK or EBMEDDED....

I want to see my JPG/IMG attachments embedded into the page... dynamically creating a [IMG] tag...

thanx...

BELOW is the how vB currently displays GIF/JPG images... as a link.. i want to see the pic...

There is an option for this in the vB Options in the Admin CP -> Attachments -> View Images

This still only allows for one attachment as no one has created a multiple attachment hack yet to my knowlage.

can't you just use the attachmentid [/attach ] BBcode?

[attach]67517

For example ;)

Well yes the attach tags would work, but I am looking for something more GUI so that users dont have to first upload the attachment, then copy the ID, then write the tags!
It's be more elegant and useful if there were a WYSIWYG icon like the "insert image" icon.

yeah that would be useful, maybe have a "insert inline" beside the attachement list after it is uploaded. Or maybe a pulldown menu that automatically lists all the attachements and when you select one it puts in the attach code automatically.

You just click the paperclip on the toolbar once you uploaded your image. It will have a dropdown menu with all the attached files.
