Family Hack 1.3 MAJOR update

Family Hack Description -
this all started when one of my members post a thread that got big. what it was was people on the forums meet, start being friend and started their own family or whatever. like they wanted a bro or sis. so i tried making something to make it easier for them to display it. its not much but here it is.
hopefully i can make this better after some time

Unfortunantly it's not a hack, because there are no file modifications. Interesting idea..although I personally find these kind of threads extremely abstract and often get to flamming.

The full release area is to be meant only for file-modified hacks.

This is a great hack, but I have 2.2.6 (heavily hacked, no chance of upgrading anytime soon).

I installed this hack, but it looks like the users IP address are showing up next to sister!

Does this hack work at all with 2.2.6?

you probably put it in the template wrong. :|

You must have messed up one of the templates that you put it in =\ Go to the template part and make sure you did it right.

yea, it is compatible with any version. well atleast 2.2.5-2.2.7

The only template change I see is to add

$broname
$sisname
$otfamname

I did that, and yet the IP NUMBERS showed up. Which is odd, since I have IPs logged (and not shown).

My bad. I fixed it.

In functions.php I replaced "field#" with "9", instead of just the # with the 9.

thinking about instead of members of the family how about a family name thats linked to a pop up with all the family members names. that could be used for a lot of things. i'm forming teams on my forum for a new game we are going to try and this hack would be prefect for it

all i know how to do right now is edit parts of code. and judging by what u said, i would have to amke a new file called family.php or somethin. ill look into making it if noone makes it befor me
