Will the next version of VBulletin include all the hacks here?

Maybe not all, but some that have been greatly accepted. Can we have a new version of Vbulletin with all the new hacks, but as an options, so we can decide which hacks we want to apply.

I am so tired of edit this and that all the time, and things screwed up very frequently.

Sorry, but please include new hacks in the new release.

thats what hacking is for is to hack your forum with mods... vbulletin doesn't offer all the services of every single hack to their forums... many are not wanted by everyone except by a few... and that would literally take away the significance of this forum... you would probably do better in hiring someone to hack your forums...

else better of waiting for the release of vb3 and all of its new features... regards...

Actually, vB3 has a few other hacks included as standard:

Quick Reply Box, Who's Browsing in a thread, Today/ Yesterday date, WYSIWYG interface, Photo in Profile (these are all hacks you can install for vb2 now). There are definitely more, but these are just off the top of my head.

i think at this point it is safe to say that it should be hack of the every three months award... to be even more specific after reading through TECK's post about community involvement it has seemed that the opposite... no disrespect to the community... but if HOTM is to be done shouldn't it get done? No doubt im sure the ppl are busy because so am i... but im sure that there's many others willing to take the task on... but if HTOM has been declined for further references then so be it... again no disrespect... regards...

quick reply box - totaly different in coding
who's browsing the thread - is using sessions for guests, unlike the regular hack.
today/yesterday hack - dont know the code for that one, but i'm sure is different.
wysiwyg - code written by kier, if i'm correct
photo in profile - dont know about this code

if the name insire you to think this way, we are all wrong. the ideas were probably way before implemented... vb3 started to be develloped sint vb223, i think... :)

:) I was referring to the actual features which are vB2 hacks, but standard in vB3, not the code itself - obviously the code would be different since vB3 uses code that is so radically different that most of the vB2 hacks won't work for it anyway. But thanks for clarifying.

I think they also included your microstats hack too (in different coding of course) - can only be seen by admins.
