Hi guys,
I don't currently own vBulletin, but I want to write a web based 'service' for a forum at which I hang out, which uses vBulletin.
I want to be able to use the vBulletin authorization stuff and cookies, so when people go to this 'service' they don't have to make new usernames etc.
The questions I have to ask are:
* Is this possible? (ie would I get source code to dig around in?)
* Could I use vBLite to code it and have it work on the full version or are they different?
* Does anyone havd vBLite or could they point me to a mirror? I downloaded it sometime before the 1st August, but now I can't find it, and it's no longer available :(
I really don't want to pay $85 US or $160 US (I'm assuming it's US) for something I'm not going to be running as an actual forum. I just need it to check if my site is working with the vB stuff.
Alternately are there docs or an API which I could use/read/reference?
Cheers,
tifkat
