Wicked hack idea - Software/Script Repository

Hey,

This would be quite an involved hack but it would so useful. We started to develop one independently of VB but put the brakes on. It would have these kinds of features:

- Home page - 2 or 3 main sections like php and cgi
- Latest scripts on home page
- Top 5 scripts on home page
- Under the 2-3 sections there would be a bunch of subsections like chat, cms, support, forums etc
- Members can vote on scripts and post comments
- Members can download scripts
- Link to working demo
- Members can suggest scripts via some form of formmail script.

Basically we are talking a mini- vB driven hotscripts.com.

What do you think? Awesome idea if someone has the time. :)

What not just go to sourceforge.com and download their system and integrate it with VB since it is free?

If I ever had the time I of course would make this is a really good idea... but for now I would suggest taking a look into the sourceforge one...

If you PM me the details of this I will look into it after I finish a few other things :)
