Moderator Drop Down (Revised) v2
Coded: VBULLETIN 2.XX
ABOUT
This is a simple modification that adds your moderators in a scrollable menu on index.php and forumdisplay.php. There is no files that need to be edited (only templates). This is a redesigned version of the previous mod drop down by me, this will eliminate the Java script in header and will eliminate the onchange selected index error. This also adds the right link to your TEAM icon.
WHY IS THIS BETTER THEN THE OTHER VERSION?
This will eliminate tons of previous problems, One problem that people were having was that every time they selected something in their forms it would jump without being instructed. The other problem was it wasn't designed for sub forums or forumdisplay. Now it is.

"There is no files that need to be edited (only templates)."
Then it's not a hack, it's a template modification.

I think he's saying that there are no code modifications IF YOU HAVE ALREADY INSTALLED THE MOD DROPDOWN HACK. :)

if you are using the older version then just replace the old code with this new code and remove the script you once had in your header called kaotixVIBE. This script is a lot better then the older one I used. pluse it fixes your subforums and your "moderated by" area.

Well I am not gong to argue if its a mod/hack or a template mod or voodoo. I love it as it really helps clean up the look of the board.

Thanks!
I didn't know it was not the right forum, it doesn't matter to me where you put it, but I'm sure the 1950 people who downloaded this version and the previous version would find it more useful here. That's just me.

You have a problem in your code, the filename for the forumhome code image is team.gif, but the forum display image is called vb_team.gif (and the file is called vb_team.gif) do the forum home code needs to be edited to reflect this :)

I am using 2.2.7 and it is there, you just have to take a better look.
Example:
Just go to templates-Modify--->Expand--->Forum Display Templates--->forumdisplay_moderated by
Rest assured it is there.
Great hack i voted 5

I put this in.... I love it.
Just one problem. I am new to changing templates and stuff. Where can I change the background colors to the drop box, font sizes and colors?
I have been changing them, but it doesn't seem to do anything.
Thanks,
Glen

the only hack that has ever worked for me, was the welcome panel. All others just wont work, the online.php, and now this one. All it did was take out the links to the moderators names. Now i put back the original files, and the links wont work anymore. What's going on?

I guess everyone would like an answer to this question. Any support please? Otherwise I think it would not be much help in making our boards look "cleaner". I really hate seeing that it's the ONLY part of my board that I don't like, just because I can't resize the box to a fixed size.
Ok, it sorta works for me...
But I want it to work on the FRONT index, it doesn't :(
Also, it resizes my entire forum when you click on a thread and it makes it look real bad... ???

I think you've forgot to edit a template (goto admin CP and look if al the "to edit" templates are colored blue) if you forget one of them, edit is, maybe it works then.
If it isn't that, just download the files en look if you edited everything *so search again and replace/put before/after everything again*
If it isn't working:
Have you backed-up your files?
Just restore them and restore the templates.
Now try again.

working good on 2.3.0 got it working just fine. only problem on my end is inside a forum where it has the drop down box> it does not list any mods names. must be i the forum display template but not sure about that. can you give me an idea of why the drop downs list all mods on the main forums display but not inside a forum? thanks for a great hack, I love it

got everything working fine but one part. on my main baord I have a category with 5 forums under it. in those forums I have 5 more sub forums. if i click on just the main category itself to show the 5 forums inside, with their list of 5 subforusm each, the 5 main forums show the drop down box but all the sub foums just list the mods to the right instead of having a drop down box like th emain forums themselves. anyone know where to add the code to get teh dropdown boxes in the subforums also?
