how can I delete all posts from a user that is deleted? :surprised:

finally an easy question :)

Admins Cp - Threads & Posts (left hand side category) --> Mass Prune --> Prune by username

and there is nothing there, and also the posts are there still..

do you remember the userid? if not then find one of his posts then search for it in phpmyadmin and search out the userid... if its changed to zero then simply run this query...

DELETE FROM post WHERE userid=0

else if you find the user id then replace the zero with the userid regards...

Note you will also need to remove any threads by them:

DELETE FROM thread WHERE postuserid=0

heh i didn't think of that NTLDR but then again if you do that how will the threads themselves be maintained? (meaning all of the posts in the thread) i don't think its a good idea to do such... im sure that'll it'll reindex the thread... but i think you know what i mean :P

I hadn't thought about that, allthough somewhere allong the line I think it will go wrong no matter what you do, and there will probably be posts left that arn't needed.

The morral of the story, prune before deletion ;)
