NTLDR
08-28-2002, 10:00 PM
This hack adds some more details to the email you get after a user has registered. Tested on 2.2.6, but should work on all 2.2.x versions.

It adds:

The users IP Address;
The URL of where they signed up from (e.g, the home page, a thread);
The user on the board who they ented as the referrer;
There browser & OS details;
There sig.

Nice :)

I made this myself a while back, but never thought about releasing it. I like the option: Registred From .. so I will be adding that soon

NTLDR, is there a fix for the birthdates that are before 1970? Anyone who has a birthday before 1970 always shows up as December 31, 1969 in the emails I get. :)

I think this is a bug with vB, as it defaults to 1970 for some stuff.

I got the birthday in the member.php to work with dares before 1970, where is the code I need to fix it for the birthdates in the email?

It should be in register.php somewhere above where you add the code for this hack.

Anyone know if this works with 3.0?

No it doesn't. A vB3 version will be released in a day or so.

Not to throw you off - but something I thought that would be nice would be the option to automatically send the referrer a thank you email
