If you've ever used the moderator thread option to "move a post with a redirect", and then tried to delete the redirect, you know what I'm talking about. You have to jump through hoops.
I would like a hack that would display and/or delete redirects that are older than XX days.
The forums internal search apparently is designed to prevent it from displaying redirected threads as hits, but when I installed the "vb3 similar threads" hack, I started to see a few come up as "similar threads," which gave me the idea for this hack.
So I am thinking it would be possible to create a search and destroy utility that would let the administrator delete redirects that are older than a week or a month. I find that most redirects have outlived their usefulness after about a week,
