I've installed the Shoutbox in my board and me and my members love it!!
My concern is, it will get pretty lengthy eventually, so I would like to clear it out periodically. Is there a way to clean out the shoutbox? Like mass delete shouts from a certain date or anything? Any admin features with this or any other way to do it? Or does this by chance already happen after a certain time?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Kit

My board is new and doesn't have any members yet... just 4 of us.... I just knew where it was cause I installed it on my test board..... But I would say once a month maybe...

In the Admin control panel?
I can't find it either. All I see in the shoutbox and statistics, and a way to manualy delete each shout one at a time. I cant figgure out how to mass delete. Help.
*BUMP*
the easy way is to clear it out is in the sql database.

There is an auto prune CRON job (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?p=885260&highlight=cron#post885260) that you can use. You can edit the php file to have the cron job keep x number of days of shouts.

just simply type /prune in the shoutbox and hit shout all will be deleted

think peeps are getting confused as to which shoutbox..
If its vBShout 2.0/1 then typing /prune deletes the lot
If its the other less technical 1 (forgot the name) then you have to use phpmyadmin (if anyone knows a better way then please let us know)
