Bump - DOWN?

Is it possible to bump a thread down that serves no useful purpose but is worth keeping for archive purposes?

Or because one of our community who left... did his 'last post'... came back, left, back, left - and is now back again - I'd like to bump his post away because he seems to crave attention and he's getting it...

well bumping just updates the lastpost variable in thread-table

so if you set the lastpost value to a date your board has opened for example the thread becomes bumped down.
