My few questions

I had a few questions. One of them is on these forums, the category for each part is centered rather than being on the left side. Is that a hack or what?

Second, they have something that shows how many people are browsing each forum. Is that a hack?

I got more questions. What is a template and Style. I think I may have figured it out but I want to ask. I THINK template is the coding behind it all. This is where you change functions and how everything works code wise. Style (even though I havent messed with them) is how you change the actual look of the site. By doing this you can make new styles so you can do different looks without replacing the original images. Am I correct?

a template is the html portion of the forums....it is where you can make all your visual changes and change things that messing with the style won't do

to center your category names goto your admin cp and edit the: "forumhome_level1_nopost" template:

find the <tr> tag which encompasses the category name variable and change it to:


<tr align="center">
