Hey,

It would be great to be able to PM everyone that is actually on the board at the moment. Then I could tell them to get off as I need to upgrade...

You could just turn off the vB or whatever by going to your admin CP and like, the first thing in "vBulletin Options" is Board on or off...

Yea, of course I could. But a friendly message to each member on the board would be cool, too....

Wouldn't the message you input when you close the board be friendly enough? It just seems like a waste, since I'm sure you have inactive users, and if you have a lot of users, a PM to each one probably takes a lot of space. I'm just guessing here though, sorry if I seem like I'm narking on you or something...

There is a similiar old hack in full releases section. It does not PM but give the Admin the option of sending popup messages to online users but I dont know if it can send the message to all users or not. Give it a shot anyway:

BTW. If it doesnt fit to your needs, I would recommend using a hack that pop ups a new window message to your online users instread of PM'ing them. Some might disable their PMs or disable pm notification pop up window so you cant reach all online users by PM'ing. However poping up a new window might be a better solution..
