I find lesanes point system alot more organized and Plus you can Rename the Points to somthing like Gil, Gold or Zenny.

I've HAD Lesane's store hack installed for a few months now, w/ no problems. I installed this itemshop feature (which I dig)...and now when I try to post, I get the above error. The store hack IS installed (if you are referring to Lesane's).

So what is the fix? To install a different store hack? Reinstall Lesane's? The Itemshop seems to be working perfectly, other than causing a serious mess w/ not being able to post...which of course...is a very big issue. hehe

I think I fixed it. The above is referencing the newthread.php and nrewreply.php, these 2 were edited w/ the Itemshop hack. However, I reverted them back to the originals...and it works fine now. I don't think there is a need to edit those 2 files if you have the Lesane Hack because those 2 edits will tell how much each new reply and new thread are worth. And of course, Lesane already has this feature installed via admincp.

You may want to post about this in your first post to tell people they do NOT need to edit these 2 files if they do not have the Itemshop installed already.

And in fact, you may want to advise them how to UNDO those changes if they already HAVE the Itemshop installed. *shrugs* Up to you though.

RIght now i just upgraded my computer and in the process crashed my c drive (DOH!)

I was going to release the query to add the item shop to the lesanes store menu, but i lost the file it was in, so later today ill put it up. You can just copy and existing one though, and Edit it's title, price(set it to 0) disc, and the link it points to and set that to the items shop link. And for the Raising Money OR decreasing it when you buy an item.. Im really not sure why its doing that. It doesnt do that at all on mine, So maybe if you PM me a link to the store or give me some of your contact info we can work somthing out were i can tell you how to fix it.

Should edit them as you have said? Does it make a difference? Right now, I'm using the original newreply.php and newthread.php. It appears to be working fine w/ a few exceptions.

One of which, is that all new catagories are catid=0. So even if there are 10 personal shops total (from various members), they all say catid=0, (when hover over the edit, sell, buy, etc...), which of course will ONLY display 1 personal item under the "User's Current Status" display, instead of creating fields for each of the new catagories (personal shops).

Something odd though, is that I can buy a personal item from each shop, and they will appear w/i the postbit as individual items...just not in the Itemshop menu under "User's Current Status". Also...they only use the "No Item.gif" (the white "P") regardless of the graphic you choose for it.

I just installed this yesterday, so I'm expecting a few headaches to get it working right. :) Anyone have any suggestions about the above? Are there SUPPOSED to be different catid's for personal shops? Or does "0" mean that it IS a personal shop, regardless of how many are actually created?

You can add The Item shop and Bank into lesanes store alot easyer with 2 mysql query:

Item Shop:

Upon asking Mr. Vivi, I will release an integration that works. He left out WAY to many stpes.

Anyways, here are the GOOD instructions to install it.

Install store hack.
.....done?

Now, start installing the Itemshop. Do NOT edit newthread.php OR newreply.php
.....done?

Now, open up itemshop.php.
Replace EVERY instance of userfield with user
Save and Close itemshop.php
....done?

Upload itemshop.php
Go into your admin CP
Change the top option, Points field, to storep
......done!

Now, you did it. Use the two in unison as you please.

The creator just informed me that its only a beta hack, and when I tried to uninstalled it, it screwed up my Database. After that he blocked me on AIM and REFUSED to help me. Save yourself the trouble and DO NOT install this hack.

I did ask him normally... and then he started being a +++++ to ME on AIM, so I came here and told people not to use the hack. I didnt see a use this hack at your own risk (althought I should), but it wasnt there, as you stated all hacks have that. And I admit openly to making mistakes (unlike him) and I Should of backed up my database, but I forogt... that still shouldn't mean he should help when there is a problem with HIS hack.

No you dint.... I helped you. Your problem was fixed with the item shop. Only problem was is that your item images would not show up. I trye to help you with that, Nothing worked. I said i was sorry, and went off to do my thing. Then only 5 minutes later you come back saying your database was distroyed, and then call me names....

You are the same person who sues mcdonalds because you ate it for 10 years and now you are fat...++++in grow up and quit blaming other people for your problems. What do you want the author to do about your forums? Reinstall it and every hack you had on it? He never forced you to use his modification...you CHOSE to use it.
